Our Harrisburg Community Involvement
At our practice, we participate in a few charities that are near and dear to our hearts. The first one is the Josh Klein Fund, which is dedicated to Dr. Klein’s brother who died waiting for a heart/lung transplant at the age of 16. On average, about 22 people die every day waiting for a transplant, and our goal for this fund is to get this number down to 0 one day.
We also support the Gift of Life Marrow Registry, as Dr. Klein’s late father was a tissue/bone marrow donor. This organization helps support people who are battling blood cancer and also educates the public so that more people can get involved.
Finally, we are a gold sponsor for the Run for Rachel, which is an event dedicated to the memory of a patient of ours who had a smile and spirit that always lit up our office.
If you’d like to get involved with any of these organizations, we would sincerely appreciate it. To get started, you can simply contact our office today.
